Miss May I is an American metalcore band from Troy, Ohio. It consists of Justin Aufdemkampe on guitar, Levi Benton on vocals, Jerod Boyd on drums, Ryan Neff on bass and Stead BJ on rhythm guitar. In 2015, the band has five albums, an EP, and a demo to its credit. The song Forgive & Forget appears on the soundtrack of the movie Saw 6>.
They create the group at the age of 16. Their first release is an EP entitled Vows for a Massacre and published in 2007. It is followed in 2008 by a demo of four titles, including several songs will be on their first studio album Apologies Are for the Weak in 2009>. Ryan Neff left the band at the end of 2007 to join Rose Funeral, a Cincinnati band, before returning in 2009. He was replaced in the meantime by Josh Gillespie.
Miss May I was formed in 2007, Troy, Ohio, with Levi Benton, Justin Aufdemkampe, BJ Stead, Jerod Boyd, and Ryan Neff. Neff leaves at the end of 2007 to join the local band Rose Funeral, and is replaced by Josh Gillespie. At the end of 2007, the publisher published a five-title EP entitled "Vows for a Massacre", followed in 2008 by a six-song demo that includes " class = "lang-en" lang = "en"> Architect and Tides , which will be in their first album, Apologies Are for the Weak in 2009. It is after this album that the band signs to the label Rise Records>.
According to Joey Sturgis' Foundation Studios website, Miss May I is launching a studio in May 2010 for a sequel to their debut album>. On June 11, 2010, Levi Benton announces a song on the album entitled Colossal ; the album will also be titled Monument and confirmed for August 17 the same year. On September 2, 2010, Miss May I released the clip for the song Relentless Chaos by Thunder Down Country. In December 2010, Miss May I confirms her appearance at Warped Tour 2011>. Their album reaches 10> Top Hard Rock Albums, 15> Top Independent Albums, and 31> Top Rock Albums>. The band is shooting with Abandon All Ships, Sleeping with Sirens and Bury Tomorrow in support of the album.
