Max pie

Max Pie is a Belgian progressive metal band from Tubize, in the Mons region. The band is currently composed of Tony Carlino (vocals), Sylvain Godenne (drums), Thibaut Basely (guitar and keyboards) and Lucas Boudina (bass).

Formed in 2005, the band first starts playing covers of bands such as AC / DC, Queen and Deep Purple, and then, in 2009, composing and playing original compositions. In 2011, under the Belgian label Ultimhate Records, they released their first album Initial Process . After a few line-up changes and a tour with Jon Oliva's Pain in 2012>, the band, this time under the Belgian label Mausoleum Records> (Adam Bomb, Anvil, Ostrogoth, ...), released in 2013 his second opus Eight Pieces - One World: an album much more progressive and metal than its predecessor. In 2015, the band announces the release of their third album Odd Memories, mixed by Simone Mularoni (guitarist of DGM / Empyrios).

The group has a certain reputation in Belgium and in several European countries. Their titles are shown on Classic 21 (RTBF) as part of Hell's Bells>. In addition, the group has already performed many times on the Belgian national scene: for the Tribute To The Titans Fest at the Lotto Mons Club>, the Power Prog and Metal Festival, etc.

Formed in 2005 in Tubize by Michael "Mike" Probst> (guitar) and Xavier, the band was originally named MAXPY> and was meant to take back some rock tracks classic. After a few auditions, Tony Carlino is called to sing and in September 2005, the battery is provided by Toy>. In 2006, Patrick Thayse left his current training, Hexarock, to join the group renamed Max Pie by Tony>. The band begins to perform in local clubs with rock covers. In 2008, Xavier and Toy are replaced by Dominique De Leneer (drums) and Olivier Lemière (bass). Thierry Del Cane> (guitar) will come to replace Patrick who decides to leave the training at the end of 2009. After these changes of line-up eventful, the group has confidence in him and Max Pie begin to undertake writing and the recording of original compositions. It was in early 2011 that their first album came out Initial Process .
