Los fabulosos cadillacs

Los Fabulosos Cadillacs is an Argentine rock and pop band from Buenos Aires. Formed in 1985, their first album, Bares y Fondas, was released in 1986. They have 14 albums to their name. After its separation in 2002, the group reformed in 2008.

They are one of the most influential and respected rock bands in the Latin world. In 1994 the music video of their song Matador receives the MTV Latino for the best music video, and the group receives in 2000 an award for the piece La Vida by MTV Latinoamérica. In 2008, they receive the Premio Leyenda, awarded by MTV Latinoamérica>. In 2016, they tour in South America, the United States and Europe.

Los Fabulosos Cadillacs officially begin their career in 1984, and includes Mario Siperman, Aníbal Rigozzi, Vicentico and Flavio Cianciarulo. All came from ephemeral groups formed in high school between 1982 and 1983 under the name of Mantra and Azur. After a while, they recruit new members to reach eight members. His first concert under the present name is in a school in Buenos Aires, in front of an audience retires.

At the time of its creation, the group is called Cadillacs 57, in reference to the name of the bassist of the group, Sr. Flavio. But at a meeting at Vicentico, they decide together to change their name, Poppy Manzanedo does not appreciate the name of the Cadillacs 57. After several proposals, Los Fabulosos Cadillacs comes out unanimously; their logo is designed by Naco Goldfinger>.
