Ligabue

Luciano Ligabue is an Italian pop singer, but also a director, scriptwriter and writer born on March 13, 1960 in Correggio (Italy).

Since childhood, Luciano Ligabue loved music, and at 16, he was offered a guitar by his father. From this age, he began writing songs, some of which were published and many others never saw the light of day. The first song that Ligabue wrote was titled Cento Lampioni, and spoke of a prostitute, her dreams and her hopes. At the same time, he did a lot of odd jobs for a long time.

In February 1987, according to the idea of ​​Claudio Maioli, a friend who will work with him later, Luciano Ligabue makes his first concert with a small group, the "Orazero". In July 1988, with his group, Ligabue won a regional contest, the "Terremoto Rock", and won the right to release his first single, which contained the two titles Anime in Plexiglass and Bar Mario. Today there are only a few copies of this single, in private collections. Ligabue will separate from the "Orazero" in 1989, and in December of the same year, he will record his first solo album, entitled simply Ligabue, including most songs sung with the "Orazero". The disc will be 5 times platinum disc. Thanks to the song Balliamo sul mondo, he won the "Festivalbar 1990" youth category. In November 1990, he began the "Neverending Tour", a tour of nearly 300 concerts.

In September 1991, he released his second album, "Lambrusco, Coltelli, Rose and Pop-Corn", also 5 times platinum record. He continues his "Neverending Tour" with the "Lambrusco" version and records his third album in the autumn of 1992. "Sopravvissuti e Sopravviventi", four platinum disc, released in January 1993, and continues the "Neverending Tour" with the New version. In July of the same year, he made the first part of U2 concerts in Turin and Naples.
